Last Updated: 11 Feb 2025

1. Introduction

Artifakt ("we," "us," or "our") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of our website, https://artifakt.tech ("Site"), to do the same. In compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we have established this DMCA Takedown Policy to address copyright infringement claims.

If you believe that content hosted on our platform infringes upon your copyright, you may submit a DMCA Takedown Notice as described below.

2. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you are a copyright owner or an authorized representative, and you believe that content on Artifakt infringes upon your copyright, please submit a written takedown request that includes the following:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work that has been allegedly infringed, including URLs or other identifying details.
  • Identification of the infringing content, including URLs or specific locations on our Site where the material is found.
  • Your contact information, including your full legal name, mailing address, email address, and telephone number.
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information provided is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

How to Submit a DMCA Notice

Send your complete takedown notice to:

Email: [email protected]

Incomplete or invalid DMCA notices may not be processed.

3. Processing DMCA Takedown Notices

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice:

  • We will review the claim and may temporarily remove or restrict access to the allegedly infringing content.
  • We will notify the user who posted the content and provide them with a copy of the complaint.
  • If applicable, the user may file a counter-notice to dispute the claim.

4. Filing a DMCA Counter-Notice

If you believe that your content was removed in error or is not infringing, you may submit a DMCA Counter-Notice containing:

  • Identification of the material removed and its previous location.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the removal was a mistake or that you have legal authorization to use the content.
  • Your contact details (name, address, phone number, and email).
  • A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the United States federal court system, or, if outside the U.S., the jurisdiction where Artifakt operates.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

How to Submit a DMCA Counter-Notice

Send your complete counter-notice to:

Email: [email protected]

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the removed content unless the original complainant files a lawsuit within 10 business days.

5. Repeat Infringers Policy

Artifakt reserves the right to terminate or suspend users who repeatedly violate copyright laws or submit fraudulent DMCA notices.

6. Limitation of Liability

By submitting a DMCA notice or counter-notice, you acknowledge that:

  • You may be legally liable for false claims or misrepresentations.
  • Artifakt is not responsible for content posted by third-party users.
  • Artifakt does not provide legal advice—for legal questions, consult an attorney.
