This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms governing the cancellation of listings, offers, and transactions on Artifakt.tech (“Platform”), a marketplace and reseller platform for non-fungible tokens (NFTs). This policy is part of the broader Terms of Service governing use of the Platform.
Artifakt.tech facilitates the exchange of NFTs through both decentralized and, in some cases, custodial mechanisms. Due to the immutable nature of blockchain transactions, cancellations are subject to technical and financial limitations.
2.1 Seller-Initiated Cancellations: Sellers may cancel listings prior to sale. Cancellation requires confirmation via wallet interaction and may incur a blockchain gas fee.
2.2 Gas Fees: All cancellations involving the blockchain require network gas fees, which are non-refundable and paid directly to the network, not Artifakt.tech.
2.3 Multiple Listings: Each listing must be canceled individually unless a bulk cancellation tool is explicitly provided.
3.1 Buyer-Initiated Cancellations: Buyers may cancel unaccepted offers at any time. Wallet interaction and gas fees may apply.
4.1 No Post-Sale Cancellations: All confirmed purchases are final and irreversible once recorded on-chain.
4.2 User Responsibility: Users are responsible for verifying all transaction details before confirming. Artifakt.tech is not liable for mistaken or erroneous transactions.
5.1 Custodial Control: Artifakt.tech may hold custody of NFTs or digital assets in limited contexts (e.g., escrow, platform-managed wallets). Users will be notified when custody applies. In other cases, users retain direct control of their assets via their connected wallets.
5.2 Technical Constraints: Blockchain-based actions are permanent once confirmed. Artifakt.tech cannot reverse completed transactions.
Listings may remain active even if an NFT is transferred out of the seller’s wallet. If the NFT is returned and the listing is still live, it may be fulfilled unless explicitly canceled.
Users may use third-party tools (e.g., revoke.cash) to revoke token approvals. This does not cancel listings within Artifakt.tech’s interface and may result in inconsistent behavior unless canceled properly.
Disputes arising from cancellations are subject to the terms and resolution mechanisms outlined in the Platform’s Terms of Service.
